How To Keep Teeth Fresh While Traveling In Summer

Summer is a time for traveling and having fun! So what are the different ways to keep up with your awesome dental hygiene while going on adventures? Read on to find out!

Thank goodness travel cases are made for toothbrushes to keep them clean and safe from bacteria during the long plane ride, train ride, or car ride! Brushing twice per day and using floss is better when you know your tools are nice and clean! Make sure you don’t forget your toothpaste at home! Brushing your teeth will be pretty difficult if you don’t have it nearby!

When you are traveling, remember that drinking water, rather than soda, is much healthier for your teeth and enamel. Soft drinks will corrode your enamel over time if you are not properly taking care of your teeth.

Another great practice is to not chew on ice. We realize everyone has done this, but try your best to get rid of the habit. Ice is hard enough to damage the enamel, and there have been cases where people have chipped their teeth on ice.

Ultimately, just remember to have a lot of fun over this summer! We believe that taking care of your teeth is fun, and we want to make sure you are doing what your teeth need to stay healthy!
