Prepare the Tooth
Depending on the condition of your tooth, the dentist will prepare the tooth accordingly. Drilling of the tooth in order to change the shape could occur and the client will be under general anesthesia. Often, drilling is not necessary.
Bonding
In order for the resin to firmly attach to the tooth, the surface needs to be roughened. The color matched resin will then be applied in the desired shape and hardened with a blue light. After the hardening of the resin, the dentist will further shape the new tooth to blend with the others.
